Programme Leader - Patient Engagement
£43,000 for 35 hour week; 3 year fixed term, based Central London
National Voices is the leading coalition of health and care charities in England.
We seek a talented and energetic person to lead important work on empowering patients.
The future of healthcare lies in patients and service users becoming more informed, confident and engaged in their health and care. The voluntary sector has a vital part to play in this but our capacities are limited and sometimes fragmented, and our efforts sometimes thwarted.
This 3-year programme, supported by the Health Foundation, is aimed at building a much more powerful role for the sector in empowering patients. It will reinforce and extend National Voices’ agenda-setting work on person-centred care. You will work with our members and others to nurture a community of interest that will build common purpose, capture and share knowledge, and drive change.
We are looking for an individual with leadership, passion and drive to lead this programme. You must be a highly organised “doer”, an excellent influencer and collaborator, and able to thrive in a small, friendly, dynamic team.
Closing date for applications: 15th April 2014
Interview date: 2nd May 2014
