Founded in 2004, the Health Hotel is the collaborative work of 35 organisations with a health policy interest.Party Conference Season
Each year at the Party Conferences the Health Hotel organises a number of events and these have attracted over 5000 attendees annually. The Health Hotel events aim to maximize the impact of health issues at the party conferences, promote debate and influence policy development.
Who Attends the Health Hotel?
Almost every elected party representative - from ministers to council leaders - will attend their Annual Party Conference and it is here where they and thousands of other party members debate and decide the party’s policy agenda. They will be joined by business leaders, think tanks, charities and trade union representatives who hope to add to and influence the debate.
Typical Health Hotel events at the conferences will include;
- consultation event between Chief Executives of member organisations and the relevant Party health team
- fringe collaboration debates between Health Hotel member organisations including a Party political speaker
- receptions at each Party conference attended by the relevant frontbench health team and key stakeholders
- Question Time style debate
It is the collaborative work of 35 high-profile organisations - each with a strong health policy interest - who all work together to host events that encourage debate about the top issues in health.
The Health Hotel is a not-for-profit project, relying on membership fees and the generous contributions of its supporters
