Involving Service Users
User involvement is integral to the everyday work of National Voices, putting users at the heart of its strategies and decision-making processes.
Involving people in ways that recognise their different needs, experiences, concerns, knowledge, interests and abilities is central to our work.
Each member organisation is invited to nominate a number of service users to be part of our Service User Panel.
Participants receive regular briefings on current issues and invitations to:
- Take part in online and face-to-face discussion groups in areas of particular interest to them
- Comment on specific issues under discussion
- Feed into discussions on National Voices' policy priorities
- Put themselves forward to participate in workshops, seminars etc.
Members of the Service User Panel represent themselves only and as such are neither required nor expected to speak on behalf of, or represent, the views of others.
The membership of the National Voices Service User Panel reflects the wide ranging demographic profile of people represented by National Voices' member organisations.
