Who we are and what we do
"National Voices is the leading coalition of health and social care charities"
Health Service Journal
National Voices is the national coalition of health and social care charities in England. We work together to strengthen the voice of patients, service users, carers, their families and the voluntary organisations that work for them.
We have more than 160 members with 140 charity members and 20 professional and associate members. Our broad membership covers a diverse range of health conditions and communities and connects with the experiences of millions of people.
National Voices does not necessarily endorse the views and campaigns of its members.
National Voices Funding
National Voices is funded by membership fees, grant funding – including a grant from the Department of Heath as one of its strategic partners – consultancy work and corporate sponsorship.
Details of our main sources of funding received in 2013/14 are here
We have an ethical funding policy which is approved by the National Voices board, designed to ensure that funding relationships do not compromise our integrity and our independence of external funders.
Thank you to all those who contribute to National Voices funding, for helping strengthen the voice of patients, service users, carers and their families.
