This is a truly exciting time to join National Voices. We have made some tough decisions about focus and purpose, and are now ready to implement our new strategy. We are the coalition for health and care charities and we want to build health and care that support people to live their best lives.

A Patient Partners Programme Manager on a 9 month, part-time basis (ca £40-47k FTE) or equivalent day rate depending on preference

We are moving to different ways of working, building up assets we can use for influencing, through projects we design and deliver in partnership with others. To kick off a new and ambitious  partnership with the Health Foundation, we are looking for a Consultant or experienced Programme Manager who would like to play a central role in designing a multi-year collaboration with our members, patient partners, the Health Foundation and other possible funders. The aim of the project is directly aligned with our new strategic focus to bring the energy and voice of patients, service users and carers to the challenge of reforming health and care.

About National Voices

National Voices is the coalition of charities that stands for people being in control of their health and care. With 160 member organisations, we carry out a broad range of work to improve policy and practice and to support the voluntary sector – all with the aim of ensuring that services are built around people’s needs and goals. We are well-respected, influential, and have a reputation for punching above our weight.

We have set in train a period of organisational change: restructured the team, developed a new business model and redesigned a new strategy, which aims to bring us much closer to our members and the people they work with and for. We see it as a part of our role to facilitate and strengthen action by people who use health and care services – advocating for better quality care for themselves and others.
