Senior Communications Officer
This is a truly exciting time to join National Voices. We have made some tough decisions about focus and purpose, and are now ready to implement our new strategy. We are the coalition for health and care charities and we want to build health and care that support people to live their best lives.
A Senior Communications Officer (ca £32-£36k) joining us on a full time and permanent basis
In our small and committed team you will be a key member. It is a varied role that spans all aspects of our communications function. We are looking for a confident, creative and meticulous professional who would like to drive our communications work in order to develop even deeper relationships with our stakeholders and members: website, member updates, social media, events, new formats - this is an important post with lots of opportunity to make your mark, and to develop further.
About National Voices
National Voices is the coalition of charities that stands for people being in control of their health and care. With 160 member organisations, we carry out a broad range of work to improve policy and practice and to support the voluntary sector – all with the aim of ensuring that services are built around people’s needs and goals. We are well-respected, influential, and have a reputation for punching above our weight.
We have set in train a period of organisational change: restructured the team, developed a new business model and redesigned a new strategy, which aims to bring us much closer to our members and the people they work with and for. We see it as a part of our role to facilitate and strengthen action by people who use health and care services – advocating for better quality care for themselves and others.
