Communications network: May 2019

A meeting of National Voices' communications network

The next communications network meeting will be hosted at the National Voices offices on 14 May 2019.

The topic of this meeting is 'cross-sector collaboration'.

Guest speakers at the network meeting:

Julie Evans, Head of Marketing and Communications at Time to Change

Julie will be talking about her experience of working with two partners – Mind and Rethink Mental Illness – on the long-standing partnership, Time to Change.

Jonathan Ellis, Director of Advocacy and Change at Hospice UK

Jonathan will be sharing his experience of project based collaborative work around the ‘Care committed to me’ publication last December, which looked at delivering high quality, personalised palliative and end of life care for Gypsies and Travellers, LGBT people and people experiencing homelessness.

Nicola Copsey, Account Manager and Marty Lawrence, Senior Creative at That Lot

Nicola and Marty will share the creative process behind the 'Tweet Treats' social media campaign from last October, which saw Channel 4 create a 'donation menu' - including the opportunity to insult Piers Morgan - in a bid to raise huge amounts of money for Stand Up 2 Cancer.
