National Voices AGM

We look forward to welcoming our members to our AGM this year at Hempsons on the 6th December. Register your place now.

As well as covering the annual report and accounts, this year we want to give our members a better feel for how our new strategy is translating into an emerging work programme. This is also an opportunity to engage with some key external stakeholders.
This year’s agenda will include three parallel workshops on our priority programmes so far:

  • Innovation - Sam Roberts (Chief Executive of the AAC and Director for Research and Innovation at NHS E/I)- will join us to discuss how we can make the innovation agenda deliver for people: meet their needs and put them in the driving seat
  • Primary Care Reform - Dr Amit Sharma, GP and Medical Director of Wokingham GP Alliance in Berkshire will share his experience of delivering person centred and joined up care through Primary Care Home sites -- the pathfinders for primary care networks.
  • Patient leadership for improvement - We will be showcasing our new collaboration with the Health Foundation to develop a community of people who want to use their experience to improve services. And our member, the Point of Care Foundation, will show how they use experience based co design.

We’ll be concluding the afternoon with a panel discussion involving our external guests, reflecting on what they heard from our members around innovation, primary care and patient leadership.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to e-mail sam.batey@nationalvoices.org.uk.
