National Voices Conference 2018
Registration is now open.
National Voices 2018 conference will take place on 14 March 2018 at The Light, Friends House, Euston Road, London, NW1 2BJ.
The event is one of the largest gatherings of health and care charity leaders in the country and is free for members to attend.
2018 will be a significant year for us; not only will it be the year that National Voices turns ten, but it is also the year that the NHS turns 70, the Five Year Forward View turns four, and that we host our largest ever conference.
We are delighted to announce that the Secretary of State for Health, Jeremy Hunt MP will be opening our 2018 Conference. We will also be joined by:
- Shadow Minister for Mental Health and Social Care, Barbara Keeley MP
- Chief Executive of Ipsos MORI, Ben Page
- Chair of the Royal College of General Practitioners, Professor Helen Stokes-Lampard.
We are also pleased that writer and broadcaster Vivienne Parry will be our conference chair.
As well as our four plenary speakers, we’re pleased to announce the introduction of our ‘expert panel’ made up of four experts by experience. The panel will be responding to each of the speakers’ addresses.
Please find a PDF version of the programme below.
With an estimated 250 registered delegates, ten workshops, and four keynote speakers, our 2018 Conference will be a major opportunity for us to come together and celebrate our collective contributions to the voluntary and community sector as a coalition that stands for people being in control of their health and care.
We have opened up early bird tickets and are inviting you to register your attendance below to guarantee your place. We also want to encourage as much participation from people with lived experience as possible, so please invite the beneficiaries you work with too. To help us keep track of attendees, we ask that you select the ‘person with lived experience’ ticket option on Eventbrite in this case.
