Wellbeing Our Way: Supporting Self Management Community of Practice

Wellbeing Our Way’s communities of practice bring together charities and community organisations, alongside people with lived experience.

QISMET is an independent not-for-profit body that supports self-management providers and commissioners to achieve the highest possible quality by developing Quality Standards defining good practice and certificating providers against these Standards. The Standards may be of interest to organisations offering support for self management including education, group support, or a range of face to face or online activities aimed at enabling people to manage their long term health conditions.

Graham Baker (Director at QISMET) will be presenting at this meeting and will include:

  • an introduction to QISMET and the standards – what the standards entail; how the accreditation process works
  • the benefits of gaining accreditation e.g. ensuring a high quality service, strengthening funding bids, other benefits
  • time to ask questions about the standards, the accreditation process, potential benefits for your organisation or anything else of interest
