Member briefing: HM Government’s health team and the Shadow health team
Thu, 13 October 2016
The political landscape has shifted considerably since the referendum result in June, but finally seems to be settling, in some sectors at least. We have a new prime minister but retain Jeremy Hunt as our secretary of state for health, although there were changes to the team around him. On the shadow benches, Jeremy Corbyn remains as the leader of the opposition despite the turbulent months since June, but we have yet another shadow health team thanks to the latest reshuffle.
This briefing gives an overview of the newly configured government and opposition health teams.
