Nominations open for National Voices' Board of Trustees
Thu, 2 August 2018
Nominations for elected member trustees to join our Board are open from today until 7 September. Voting will run from 14 September to 5 October, with new trustees confirmed at this year's AGM.
Vacancies arise because Jane Dunnage of Lupus UK reaches the end of her term of office, and Barbara Gelb has retired from Together for Short Lives, so both are stepping down at the 2018 AGM. A huge thank you to both of them for their work over the years.
You may nominate yourself or be nominated by your colleagues; in both instances, we will need to confirm your nomination with your Member Representative. If you are not sure who this is, contact email@example.com. Nominees need to have an established relationship with the nominating organisation: for example as a member of staff, trustee or volunteer.
To nominate, please complete the nominations form below.
Trustees serve for an initial, three-year term of office and may then stand for re-election for a second term. If you want to talk about being a trustee please contact Julie on 020 3176 0736 or by email.
All full members of National Voices are eligible and are encouraged to nominate a representative to become a trustee. We are particularly encouraging candidates who can evidence experience of one or more of the following:
- CEO or senior manager at a small charity
- Expertise in inequalities
- Specialist skills such as IT, digital, communications and organisational development
