To further our mission, in 2018 National Voices established an Industry Collaborative. This brings together senior leaders from companies involved in life sciences, health and care.
The Collaborative facilitates cross-sector learning and collaboration on the issues that matter to patients and it meets quarterly to share intelligence and discuss issues of common concern. Subscriptions from members of the Collaborative also support National Voices’ sustainability.

Benefits of joining the Industry Collaborative
Strengthen your commitment to person-centred care. Learn how to be more person-centred in your approaches. Develop your understanding of what matters to people relating to health and care, learn how to meaningfully involve patients in your work, and explore opportunities for working with the voluntary sector.
Gain access to National Voices’ expertise, intelligence and networks. As the leading, cross-cutting health charity coalition in England, with some 160 members, we have an unrivalled position as a “one-stop shop” on issues of importance to patients, carers and the health charity world; and excellent relationships across government and national NHS bodies.
Network with peers. Quarterly half-day face-to-face business meetings under the Chatham House rule provide a safe space for networking.
Hear from experts and leaders in health. Senior leaders from the health and care sector attend meetings, providing attendees with the opportunity to discuss important issues with them in an informal setting.
Receive regular updates on person-centred care. Monthly newsletter with updates on National Voices’ work, developments in person-centred care and issues we care about.
Free attendance at National Voices annual members’ conference. Get one complimentary ticket to the UK’s largest gathering of health and care charities.
National Voices’ Industry Collaborative Group is underpinned by the principles of clarity of purpose, integrity, transparency, and independence.
The Collaborative adheres to National Voices’ ethical funding policy and, where relevant, to the principles of the joint Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) and National Voices’ guide to collaboration between charities and the pharmaceutical industry.
Membership of the Collaborative is by invitation only. Industry Collaborative membership does not constitute membership of National Voices itself, which is reserved for charities and professional bodies.
