Wellbeing Our Way facilitated a person-centred information and helplines community of practice. We also hosted shared learning workshops that brought together people with lived experience and those working within charities to explore how health information, helplines and wider digital engagement can enable people to manage their health in the ways which matter to them. Read the Storify from the event and download the presentation slides at the bottom of this page to see what was discussed at the workshop.
There are lots of projects about developing information and helplines listed on the WOW! Exchange, including:
- The 'Mental Health and Planning Ahead' factsheet produced by Compassion in Dying and Mind
- Get Your Rights, a National Children's Bureau (NCB) website that enables children and young people to find out about their rights when making a decision about their healthcare
- An introduction to involving people in developing health information, by the Patient Information Forum (PIF)
