C-Card scheme

Here's the shared example

Hackney and the City’s Come Correct C-card scheme provides free condoms to young people (aged 24 or under) in over 80 locations including clinics, youth centres and pharmacies. The scheme is provided by Brook, the UK's leading young people's sexual health charity and is part of the pan-London Come Correct network. Brook provides a free “Introduction to Sexual Health and Condom Distribution” two day training course to professionals working in Hackney and/or The City to enable them to deliver high quality distribution with education.

Ask Brook supports young people by giving sexual health information, support and signposting for anyone under 25, anywhere in the UK, through a webchat service, text chat service, and the Ask Brook 24/7 tool.

The service also offers the CCard App: a free and confidential service which allows young people to find the nearest CCard service to them, contact details and opening hours. The CCard App can be used as a ‘virtual’ card, so that the young person only needs their phone to access free contraception.

Brook also run The Free Condom Project in Hackney and The City which is a similar c-card scheme for adults aged 25+ and is targeted at HIV risk groups. This is part of Hackneys HIV reduction strategy promoting HIV prevention, education and testing.
