SignHealth recognise that Deaf people generally have poorer health than hearing people, simply because access to medical services and health information isn’t routinely provided in sign language. SignHealth believe it’s time for this to change. The organisation’s work is varied and aims to promote easier access to healthcare and information. It partners with the NHS and other services and take on projects, carry out research, and raise awareness.
