Policy priorities for 2024/2025

  • Accessibility and inclusion
  • Working with people and communities
  • NHS future development

Comms influencing priorities 2024/2025

  • System pressures
  • Health inequalities
  • Cost of living
  • ICS/ICB (trade)

Our priorities were developed through discussions held with members, through developing cross-cutting themes from our annual membership survey, and through co-production with National Voices’ Lived Experience Partners.

We spent our time developing these, and we are confident that they not only meet the needs of our members and reflect their most important priorities but that they also recognise both current and future system priorities and our ability to make a real impact in these areas by securing funded projects.

Jacob Lant, Chief Executive of National Voices said:

Our policy and communications priorities are supported by a common theme – ensuring that the NHS works for all, not just those who know how to navigate the system or who come from more privileged backgrounds.

Our priorities are directly aligned with the priorities of our members, over 200 health and care charities. Most importantly, all our work will continue to be underpinned by health inequalities, lived experience and co-production.
