Request form: Connect with communities experiencing health and care inequalities

As outlined in the CQC Public Engagement Strategy, “To deliver high-quality care, it is vital to listen to, understand and act on the experiences and needs of people who use health and care services. This applies to those who provide and organise care services as well as to CQC as the regulator.”

The Public Engagement Network is a group of not-for-profit organisations who can support the CQC to connect with and understand the experiences of people and communities experiencing health inequalities. This form is for requesting to engage with communities experiencing health inequalities and the not-for-profit organisations that work with them. This might include engagement such as interviews, focus groups, roundtables, large scale engagement events and much more.

The Public Engagement Network is managed by the Voices for Health Equity Partnership – led by National Voices and supported by Innovation Unit and Collaborate CIC. Any engagement agreed would be delivered by the Voices for Health Equity Partnership, working closely with Public Engagement Network members.

By submitting this form, you agree that your information may be shared with the Care Quality Commission Public Engagement Team and the Voices for Health Equity Partnership for the purposes of administering and developing the Public Engagement Network. If you have any questions, please contact Louis Horsley, Research and Insight Manager, National Voices (louis.horsley@nationalvoices.org.uk).

We aim to make an initial response to requests within five working days. We recommend giving at least six weeks’ notice when making a request and more where possible. If you have less than six weeks’ notice, please get in touch and we will do our best to help.

Please note, this form is for Care Quality Commission staff wishing to call off engagement events via the Public Engagement Network programme. If you do not work at the Care Quality Commission and want to request support with engagement via National Voices, please visit this webpage instead.
