On 22 March the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Health (APHG) met to discuss the Major Conditions Strategy, and hear from key voices from the health and care sector on the views on the strategy, including National Voices’ Sarah Sweeney.

This week, Dr Rebecca Steinfeld joins National Voices as our new Head of Policy. Here she introduces herself by answering a few questions about family life during coronavirus and what she hopes to achieve together with the National Voices team, Board and members.

National Voices has launched their annual report for 2021-22. Our aim during this time was to amplify how the pandemic and underlying service shortages continue to impact people who need health and care services. Our focus was on elective recovery, primary care access, the need for ongoing conditions care, mental health and on Long Covid.

The testing phase of our draft improvement framework for ICSs, created in collaboration with CQC and the Point of Care Foundation, is now complete.
